My best time with Vanilla Sonic and Tails is a time of 43 minutes and 16 seconds. I wouldn't say I beat them, as there are glitches abundant to skip your way to the end of the stage like any other game. Just a little trick I picked up along the way of DSZ 1, but you can skip the entirety of Egg Rock Act 1 and 2 if you find your way into this little tile at around the halfway mark and spindash jump into it, stay in there for about 30 seconds, you'll be a press of a button to the signpost.

I know ppl have said it before but it really does feel like Bridge Island Zone was the most realized zone for Superstars, don't get me wrong there's other Zones I enjoy like Pinball Carnival Zone but Bridge Island really has satisfying moments when you try to play this Zone as quickly as possible that other zones don't really have... this run is far from perfect but I'm happy w/ sharing this
I completely forget there is a Time Attack mode in Superstars oops...

And... hey, Sonic Superstars. I don't have it, so I can't really compete that run, but from what I understand, this is a really clean run!
Sorry for not having much to say. Still a bit burnt out in general. But since it is the Year of Shadow, I guess I'm legally obligated to beat Shadow '05 and TA that.
All hail Shadow.

So I was rummaging through my videos folder and I found I could kill two birds with one stone. With one of my favorite Sonic fangames, too!

(Music is the Raisins battle theme from South Park: The Fractured But Whole, by the way)
If I can go on about this game for a second. I used to play the original release of Sonic World, before Release 10, and its a fangame I hold near and dear to my heart for being one of, if not my first Sonic fangame I've played outside of Flash games. It was all kinds of jank but it was a prime example of quantity over quality, tons of stages and characters from all over the Sonic games, along with mod support. It was a Sonic fan's dream!
... Even though back then I barely knew any of the other character's names and had no idea who like 85% of the playable characters were...
Anyways, years later, Sonic World DX comes out, a current work-in-progress meant to polish up many of original Sonic World's issues (of which there were a lot). And right now they barely have as many characters and levels, but the gameplay is phenomenal, and is actually what got me so interested in doing Score-Attack runs in other Sonic games, this one is actually kind of tough to get S-Ranks on.
Nothing more to add. Just diversifying the selection even more.

I find him to be the most versatile character in the game. That sliding kick for a quick burst of speed and passing through obstacles, and double jump that works both for homing in on enemies and platforming are way too good. The air kick as well is also good for that bit of extra air time it gives you and also how it allows you to do the wall cling like in Knuckles' Chaotix (although I found the wall cling to be kind of useless).
Overall, I find the all other characters to be fun, but as far as I know, Mighty is the META.
