the Summer Game Fest Trailer is now on YT for everyone to enjoy!
Bullet Station and Kingdom Valley are confirmed as returning stages! so Generations will now have 2 stages from Sonic Heroes, and Sonic '06 is being given more time to shine thankfully! really loving the way these stages and the gameplay is looking

also! the Shadow campaign is running on the Frontiers' engine, and the drop dash is also returning for classic Sonic in Generations! we also got a look at a Digital Deluxe Edition of the Game, where as the regular Special Edition comes with an Adventure Sonic skin and Professor Gerald's research notes, the DDE will have an additional level and skin for Shadow, extra BGM, Digital Art Book and OST, and... a Terios skin!?

very exciting to have some new information, and there's some Sonic ppl I follow on twt that are apparently going to be playing the game at Game Fest tomorrow, so we'll see if anything else new is brought up in the next coming days! -

I saw it on blue bird app the other day but felt like it was too good to be true, but... TERIOS IS BACK??? AS IN SHADOW CONCEPT ART TERIOS???
... Man, now I'm all woozy...
The dropdash, Gerald's notes, low-poly Adventure 1 Sonic, FRIGGIN' TERIOS. I know Generations is supposed to be a celebration of Sonic's history but I didn't expect us to be eating this good.
Also, for some speculation. Bullet Station from Heroes and Kingdom Valley from '06 are confirmed stages for Shadow, and two games that were already represented in the original Generations. So it's safe to assume Shadow will play new zones from all the games in the previous Generations, among some new additions from the newer games?
Not quite sure, I feel Generations hit the mark pretty well with representing important Sonic games up to that point, of course excluding handheld games, so I'm fine with Shadow being a do-over of zones that could have been represented last time, I'd love to see Scrap Brain Zone from Sonic 1, or actually, it'd be interesting to see a non-speed stage from Sonic Adventure 2 being reworked to fit Shadow's game play, so there's a thought.
But who knows, maybe we'll get some curve balls and we'll get the Advance trilogy and Rush showed some love. There's no way we're not getting a Shadow '05 zone, though. -

ohhh my god, this trailer's got me so hyped. i'm so excited for bullet station coming back, it looks so cool!! and shadow has wings?? that's INSANE. i'm so excited for his story now, they've clearly got something crazy planned.
the digital deluxe bonuses aren't available for the physical preorder, though. it's really disappointing. especially since gerald's journal is exclusive to physical preorders, so you have to choose between the digital bonuses or the journal, or buy the game twice if you want both. i'm really bummed out by that, i was super excited for the journal, but i don't know if it's worth missing out on all the deluxe edition stuff for it. -

yeah, it's such a shame that it seems like the only unique perk of the Physical Edition is Gerald Robotnik's journal, I don't think it's enough incentive for ppl to consider ordering the physical version over the DDE, but it's also smth I know a lot of ppl would really want even if it was just a bonus digital version to read in the gallery or smth in game
there were also mentions of a "season pass" when they were talking abt the game, meaning there may be even more content that'll release later on for sxsg similar to Frontiers, but I think the future content for sxsg will most likely be paid-for content rather than free, but we'll see! -

I examined my PS3 version of Sonic Generations. Was surprised to see a manual, even if it was barebones. It was right when they started phasing manuals out. I miss the manuals that show all the levels, badniks, and gives them back story.
