Center of the Island
Seth had no objections whatsoever with this decision. They might even further up the odds in fighting the dwarf and his undead legion and Edward and his cronies.
With an amount of effort he tried standing on his own, and after a few foul teeth gestures as well, some hefty breathing, he acknowledged their questionable faces with a simple nod. "Let's go." It was barely bearable, but it would also ease off the burden and they might increase the odds for survival, averting the boastful beast which are on the hunt for them.
Leaving the forest behind, they'd be much easier to spot, but at least they have an easier way of finding their way. Also the ever so impressive mountain before them told them they where getting further inland.
A sudden reaction as the leopard spotting something hovering in the air, still as far his eyes could see, but there was definitively something suspiciously familiar, but still difficult to tell from their position.
"Are you seeing what I am?" It clearly looked like ether a wyvern, or it could very well be a dragon, but he couldn't tell. It was very difficult too see, with it's tone of color like that of the clouds scattered about.
Perhaps it's just an illusion, and just his imagine playing tricks, but a sudden worry as even if they for a moment were standing still, the creature approached ever so closer to their location.
The size was incredible, almost made him worry for their lives, but for the moment being he was paralyzed from moving.
An incredible roar released from behind them, as the foul beast which had been so easily taken care off, using simple trap techniques had now reached out from the forest, seeing the three warriors in the far distance.
"Damn it." Seth cursed, as he wasn't sure what they could do, as the next piece of forest was still a fair distance between them, the one which surrounded the mountain that is.
Looking above one last time, while they all tried to make a move, hoping that whatever approached from above wouldn't have targeted them as it's next prey.
It's obvious that this majestic airborne creature was indeed a dragon, though after seen Scarloc the proportions of it's incredible posture might've been less spectacular at first, but it's incredible size and it's shining white scales, it's clear they've never seen this one before.
A sudden collision with roars both from above and behind collaborated with each other. Lucky for them, all this time, the dragon had targeted the lumbering undead titan. It reached out for an incredible sized weapon from it's rather metal shaped belt, the weapon the size of it's body, it's incredible how much strength this being possessed.
Seth figured it's best they'd move rather then witness the spectacle, but he once again favored the dragon success in dealing with this abomination. It allowed them a chance to create distance between them and their pursuer.
What little he could spectate was as he looked back, even for a fraction of a second, as the white angel as he liked to refer it as barely avoided the abomination's giant aerial swing, by thrusting it's hind legs into the monsters chest, higher abdomen area, sweeping it off it's feet, as the amount of force deal was immense.
No doubt, it's the biggest dragon he's seen so far, but what an odd way of choosing tactic, he'd guess using some sort of element would've been a lot safer, but instead if choose tangling with it up close and personal.
An sudden desire to help, Seth stopped his tracks, looking back. "Shall we?" It would ultimately be an incredible chance to savor the odds once and for all, and maybe even gain another trustful ally. "What say you?" He didn't really wait much for an answer as he watched the impeding fight take place far on the other side of the planes. It may have taken them to long too reach, but it's well worth trying.
Running was incredible painful, but the desire to help just ushered him even further.
On the other side, the giant attempted getting back on his feet, but it seemed to equivalent, as this was a simple jest dealing with this kind of monster. The dragon already overwhelmed him with it's feet, thrusting it back in the soil which it tampered with. It's back, every piece of bone tried to counter the dragon's jaws, who had no desire whatsoever delaying the inevitable by snapping it's neck.
However it proved more difficult then it had anticipated, as the giant used it's own feet trapping one of the dragons hind legs, attempting to crush it. It only seemed to hinder it from staying agile, it didn't exactly prove lethal or damaging in any way or form.
It barely blocked the dragon's jaws by using it's arm as protection, receiving an gashing flesh wound, lucky for it, the blood that was contaminated in it's body had such an awful odor that even the dragon had to avoid digesting it. Rather in an forceful effort spitting it out. It was enough allowing the beast freeing it's second arm. And without a moment's thought used it forcefully slamming it, into the dragon's jaw. It proved successful, as it now seemed shaken from the impact, for once the undead seemed in control, no matter the size of this dragon, it proved no more able to deal with one of the dwarf's menacing creature from hell.
Another forceful attempt it tried to slam it's fist into the dragon, this time it was neglected barely.
Instead they put distance between each other, as the dragon leaped backwards, still aching from the awful taste in it's mouth.
The undead on the other hand, tried of course nothing more then to reach for his weapon.
The amount of effort Seth used getting closer felt like a burden.
But he had no desire whatsoever leaving it alone in the fight. He was just hoping his friends wished for nothing more then the same. After all, they too have met Scarloc. And perhaps this is another potential ally, if they could show their allegiance and proves in battle.
The Southern Pyramid
Trapped inside a labyrinth, with no way of seeing, it must be. Best way of getting back to another, is probably using their voices. "Speak to me Marcus." That way they might be able to find each other, and hopefully a way out of this mess. Trekking back and forth, between what he initially thought was no exit between him and the walls on each side. Alas, he found a way, it was well rather narrow, but it served as a way getting back to the male coyote.
"Ha ha! Nice to see you." It felt no where near as rewarding though his voice made it sound reassuringly so. Visually they could barely see each other faces. But it was enough no less.
"Let's find our way out of here and find out friends and these gems shall we." Sounding ever so confident, but naturally he wasn't sure what to believe, as the pitch darkness still overwhelmed them, and the walls just seemed to allude them, for all they knew, they could be wandering in circles, also some of the narrow passages seemed almost impossible to find.
With renewed effort, and countless of turns toward the left, they emerged to what seemed like another door.
It felt like they'd spent hours in one place, but what stands on the other side, only by opening it will they find out.
Of course the amount of luck, there was no handle, nor any way of opening it.
Once again they both separated looking for anything out of the ordinary, at first nearby, what they didn't know was all this time the one thing they were looking for was by the entrance to this room. Completely on the other side. "Seeing anything Dennis?" Perhaps wyvern have better vision.
