Thank you so much for joining Sonic Blast! We look forward to seeing you around the forum. Before posting, we encourage you to review our Forum Rules and Resources page, some highlights of which include the Forum Rules and Internet Safety Tips (PDF) from the US FCC.
To get started with participating in the community, we encourage you to post a new thread in this forum section introducing yourself! You can make an introduction thread however you like, but some ideas to help the community get to know you include discussing how you became a fan of Sonic, your favorite Sonic games or characters, your favorite hobbies, your activities, education or career, or anything else you can think of! Just be careful to never share any real-life identifying information, or anything too sensitive or personal.
You can also update your profile, avatar and signature to further personalize your posts and help others get to know you. Avatars and signatures are a great way to visually express yourself and add personal flair to your posts! You can use images from our Fanart HQ or upload your own.
Avatars can be directly uploaded to the forum, while signature images have to be uploaded using an off-site service and embedded in the signature. You can use the following code to embed a center-justified image in your signature:

You can change the alignment parameter to align the image left, center or right depending on your preference. You can also remove the align tags altogether if you prefer.

When configuring your signature or making forum posts, you can use the in-line toolbar to help embed images or videos and format your text. If you are interested in learning more advanced techniques, we encourage you to review MyBB's MyCode Documentation to manually style your posts.
For additional fun ways to interact with the community beyond posting, we encourage you to check out the Station Square Chatbox and Status Updates found toward the bottom of the forum homepage. You can also change your status from your profile, and you can leave comments on other people's profiles (if allowed per their privacy preferences).
