"No."
Seg stepped forward, facing down Dr. Eggman and Scourge. "You want what we have? You're going to have to take it from us! We're stopping your plot for world domination right here, right now!"
Eggman only cackled. "I knew you might say that! I might take your lives AND take the Chaos Emeralds from you at the same time!
He then spread his hands out in a dramatic fashion. "I call upon you to destroy these pests. COME OUT, MY SERVANT!"
A huge, stony hand shot out, followed by a huge towering person made out of stone. It looked menacingly at the small group.
"Yes, my Egg Golem!" Dr. Eggman shouted gleefully. "Trounce them!"
"Well, that's my cue!" Sonic said as he began the ritual of what he does best-beating up huge machines that Eggman threw together.
Meanwhile, Seg and Scourge squared off once again.
Tails faced down Eggman in a battle of the walkers.
Shiro and Fang (the Dark Chao) and Aaron provided backup to Sonic. -

-Hero Side Story-
Seg's fists clashed with Scourge's, Chaos Energy flying in both directions. Both hedgehogs were evenly matched in terms of strength and Chaos Levels.
The Egg Golem was now malfunctioning thanks to a well-placed kick from Sonic, right on its weak point at the top of its head. -

-Dark Side Story-
Scourge was sent barreling into a wall. Somehow, that....that brat had managed to overpower his Chaos Wave with a Chaos Sphere! How? HOW?!
Eggman was taking heavy damage to both his Egg Walker. This couldn't be! He was supposed to have the advantage here, not that fox boy!
Suddenly, he found himself on the receiving end of a huge stony fist.
The Egg Golem had now turned on its Master. -
