  "Hey guys, we're back, nya!" Aaron and Rouge showed up with three pieces of the Master Emerald. "We just got back from the mines, nya!"
  
  "So let me get this straight, mate" Fang (the Dark Chao) said while perched on Shiro's head. "You saved 'er an' she told ya that she wanted to marry ya?"
  
  "Y-yeah, that's k-kinda the whole story," Seg replied, still blushing.

  Shadow finally arrived at the control room of Space Colony ARK. Memories of his time spent here came flooding back to him. He began to question the true nature of that one memory with Maria.

  Bonfire was gliding over angel island, enjoying the sight, when he noticed, at the location of the master emerald, many unfamiliar faces. "what in the..." he decided to go in for a closer look, landing next to the damaged master emerald. "I have somewhere to be so hurry up and explain what you all are doing here" he said with a bored tone.

  "I'm Aaron Kunai, nya!" Aaron introduced himself to Bonfire. "And that's my mom, Rouge the Bat! And that's Fang!"
  
  "There should be a little bit more to gather, but I can't sense them anywhere," Knuckles replied.

  "well, nice to meet you, Aron, you too Fang and Rouge, however that st- WAIT DID YOU SAY SHE'S YOUR MOM" Bonfire's jaw hit the floor, but he quickly regained his composure, "anyways, that doesn't explain why you have some shards of the master emerald" he stated looking directly at the shards.

  the air around Bonfire rose several degrees warmer, his tail also poofed up, "What the heck happened this time!" the plants around bonfires feet started to wilt from the heat, "i swear, this is the 20th time this emerald has shattered"
