  Seg Genesis was running down the busy city streets. He was on the run from the Military simply due to the fact that they had attempted to arrest him. He didn't know why, but they were dead-set on trying to capture him.
  
  He focused the Chaos Energy in his hands and using two brightly glowing spheres dashed his way to safety.

  *Fang was all the way on Angel Island. He's been paid to watch the Emerald in Knuckles/ place, while Knuckles looks for treasure. Fang is sleeping on the job.*

   Aaron got back from Wild Canyon with three pieces of the Master Emerald in hand. He saw Fang sleeping on the job. 
  
  "Fang! The Emerald's broken, nya! How can you be sleeping at a time like this?"

  A purple-white blurb could be visible from afar, the soft flapping getting louder with every second. Fang and Aaron could see it hold abrupt, and began to shoot into view faster. A indistinct shout could be heard as it fell onto the shrine the Master Emerald would've been.
  
  Rouge the Bat held her voice for a brief moment until breaking the silence.
  
  "WHA--"

  Aaron eyed Rouge. "What? Thought there'd be something here by the time you got back, nya? Emerald's SHATTERED."
  
  Seg was now facing off with the "Big Foot," a massive combat mech created by the G.U.N. it attempted to stomp Seg into the ground but with Chaos Energy powers and some techniques that Sonic and Amy had taught him he prevailed, sparing the pilot.
  
  He adjusted his goggles, looking around wondering where to go next.
