  I watched that video on YouTube recently, I knew about Ken Penders and Ben Hurst wanting to make a sonic movie but I didn't know about the first attemp at a hybrid movie, great video.
  
  Cancelled sonic projects are always very interesting to hear about and see when tech demos come out of the blue.

  Come to think of it - Wasn't there 2 trailers shown at CinemaCon? I'm guessing what we saw was them both combined?

  @ no, there was one that was almost entirely focused on Robotnik. I have a feeling we'll see that soon.
  
  From what I've read on reddit leaks(just rumors and not to be taken as truth) sonic does get gloves and his iconic shoes eventually in the movie but being an origin story he doesn't have it at first. Similarly to how Robotnik doesn't look like Robotnik at first. It'll be interesting to see if this is true.

  Weren't Tails and Knuckles already confirmed a couple months ago in that SHQ post?

  That was an April Fools article. So far no one other than Sonic has been confirmed in the movie so who knows what he means by Cartoon Characters.

  Huh, it'll be interesting to see if this rumor is true or not. I wouldn't mind his bare hands if he gets gloves later on in the game.

  I'm wondering if we will get that now that it's been delayed but if it doesn't feature Sonic at all I'd love to see it.
