RE: New look at Shadow in the third Sonic movie!

Welp, for those of you who can't wait for Sonic 3, today a fan-film about Project Shadow was released. It's pretty neat. Animation is surprisingly good.
It'll be interesting to compare this to the third film when that releases next year.

For a fan film, this is mighty(no pun intended) impressive! The animations are really good and the human actors are pretty good too! -

Cool video, I watched the whole thing. I think the actual movie will be better than this but it was a fun watch and probably touches on stuff that wont be in the movie. -

Does any one have a specific actor they may want to voice Shadow? It's possible they get Jason but if they don't, what Hollywood actor would you like to see? -

Well, there's some rumors floating around that Hayden Christensen will be voicing Shadow. For the moment, they're nothing more than rumors, but Christensen sounds like a really good fit for the role. When he voiced Anakin in the third Star Wars film, his voice sounded remarkably similar to Dave Humphrey's Shadow, and if he just deepened it a bit, it'd be a perfect fit.
Obviously, I'd still prefer Jason Griffith, but if they're going to use a Hollywood actor, Christensen seems like the way to go. -

Here is some information about the JAKKS Pacific products. The information about the products are from Target store system. They all set to go on sale this October which is two-three months before the movie so they must plan a big marketing blitz! -

That Shadow image looks great!
Personally, hoping Jim Carey comes back for one final go round...and maybe "Robotnik" the character will retire from villainy and get a proper send off. Then maybe a new villain could take over for Sonic 4. (Metal Sonic? Eggman Nega perhaps? Agent Stone?)
Maybe they'll go with Jim's idea and have some kind of weapon that Jim is allowed to take over another person's body. Then Stone or someone else could still be "Robotnik" in another body canonically.
Or maybe a metal Robotnik where he uploaded his consciousness into a machine body. Could be a fun callback to Archie Comics with how they handled Eggman's introduction. -

I'm hoping he does too. Did Jim really come up with that idea? Where did he say that, in an interview? Yeah there are lots of avenues they can take to go on without Jim though, will be interesting to see where they take it and how many movies they make. -

Almost forgot to mention, a week or so ago, the was an interview with Tika Sumpter (she played Maddie), and in the interview, she said that news on the Knuckles show and third Sonic movie would be arriving soon.
Do you think they'll drop a trailer for the third Sonic film at the Superbowl?
(In other news, this coming Friday is Knuckles' birthday. They could release the Knuckles TV trailer then.) -

I found an article on it. I remember it being worded a little differently though:
Jim Carrey Explains What It's Like To Play Eggman In The Sonic Movies (gamingbible.com)
OK I guess it talks about making nanomachines, multiplying himself, cloning himself, etc. I guess I imagine him doing an Agent Smith and taking over someone's body completely, but I guess that was how I remembered the idea and not the idea itself.
