  So are we doing a game night or something on the server? I admit, I'm not familiar at all with SRB2, and I've been offline for a while so I'm out of the loop, but I'd be down for trying it out with some of the members of the forum, time and date permitting.

  We could all plan to join at some point. I'm really only available for extra curricular entertainment on weekend evenings.

  I left the server up, my primary aim is to figure out if the server resources or specs suffice for the game to run the full month, or how much off it.
  
  If you want to play on the server, go ahead. I will try to find the cheaper alternatives to match the necessary specs for it meanwhile.

  It seems for some reason it got bugged, I had to finish the process and start a new one from terminal.
  
  I have no idea why it got bugged, though, so I assume some random supervision is necessary if we want any server to be up continuously.
  
  I did download and place some mods into the correct directory, and they appear in the game mod list, but I'm unsure how to apply or force these mods into the current server.
  
  Any feedback would be welcome, if you catch any misconfiguration or know how to set a server from Ubuntu.
  
  Feel free to play on the server, even if you know nothing about how to configure it, though !

  I did try to install a launcher for it to be easier to start the game, but for some reason, the commands the author did provide don't work on the server I set up.
  
  This is possibly because I'm managing through a VCN instance remotely, so when I get the time I will try to configure the launcher from the terminal..

  Ugh, I hate it when things don't go right. That's my life with tinkering with operating systems and software. I don't know the answer to why this is happening. Perhaps @ does?

  AH, SRB2! That's a fan favorite game... if you're making a server for it, you can count me in!
