Thinking about this from the perspective of someone just joining random servers out of boredom, and probably already keep getting pelted with Discord server invites everywhere they go when they just want to play the game. That's just annoying more than anything.
Plus, it's more of a personal thing, but I don't like playing with randos online. There's just always that air of hostility I feel that I'm just not a fan of and usually avoid.
So what I'm saying is, in my personal opinion I wouldn't want this to be a publicity thing, there's way better ways to do this other than a SRB2 server. I prefer it being a sort of special meetup and celebration of everyone ALREADY in the Sonic Blast forums, I'd really want to hang out with just a handful of you all who are already in the loop instead of an entire lobby of strangers who want nothing to do with each other. But I think I'm getting a bit too dramatic.
Just throwing out what I think. I want the server being a private or public thing to still be discussed.
