Yes it's all directs then a treehouse segment but it translates the same way!

That's what I was thinking. Anyway your bingo all looks very plausible other than the Persona 5 one, but looks safe. I think there will be a few more unexpected announcements.

Sigh....knew someone was gonna say that, but that's not the thread for that. But this is gonna be a first for me to play bingo with Nintendo's E3.
Speaking of which....anybody want a bingo card of their own? I can do one for...let's see...Microsoft, Sony (yes yes, I know that Sony's not gonna be there but rather holding their own little State of Play event,) Ubisoft, and Electronic Arts. It's just something I like to do.

Why not, I'm just saying what I think is likely to be shown. I think it's much more likely Atlus talks about SMTV. That's already coming out to Switch but hasn't had a release date. I'm hoping for some really off the wall announcements that no one saw coming.

What is everyone's favorite year for E3?

Oh, yeah. Of course it is. Duh. Heheh.

My favorite year for E3 would have to be 2006 because it was the first time I saw it live on G4.

I can't say if I have a favorite year myself. I'm not supremely great at keeping track of it year to year. Perhaps I should go back and watch a few of the Scott the Woz retrospectives on them! But I definitely love any E3 that has those cold moments like the Reggie moment above, or the Sony vs Microsoft moment from 2016. Those sort of subtle savage jabs mixed into game reveals always keep things exciting on multiple levels, and keeps competition very alive!

Ooh, that reminds me. I have two other favorite years for E3.
First one was.....I think it was 20..10? 2011? It was the year that the Nintendo 3DS was revealed. There was this promo mashup of live-action and CGI skit featuring Miyamoto:

And the other one where we finally met the new president of Nintendo, Mr. Doug Bowser, which happened in 2019. Those were special moments that I'll fondly look back on.

The direct plays around the same time as E3 and I think the Nintendo Treehouse after that happens in E3 so they are kinda connected.

So I think the top row in that bingo is quite likely. BOTW 2 update is very likely. Mother 3 is definitely not happening Eggman. Persona 5 port? Maybe? I really don't get why the Switch has Strikers which is a sequel to Persona 5 despite not having Persona 5 itself Eggman. N64 games on the Switch is a maybe as well since they are really scraping the barrel with their game choices for that service (despite avoiding some obvious picks like Fire Emblem and the Mother series). Switch Pro is possible but not likely for me. I feel they would've announced it a long time ago and it feels unnecessary. I doubt we will get any news on Metroid Prime 4 since they had to start over the entire project. Bayonetta 3, while I'm not a fan of the franchise, is likely. I don't think we will get any demos for the games though (unless they announce a port of Tomodachi Life.) Paper Mario Trilogy would be SWEET but I would put it under unlikely. I would love to see the original, thousand-year door, and super paper Mario comes to the Switch as they are hard to come by and are expensive (except Super Paper Mario I think). Major 3rd Party is probably gonna happen. Remakes maybe(?) I don't know what games they would remake but I can see it happen. Now F-Zero? Same as Mother 3. Really unlikely. Not as unlikely as Mother 3, but still unlikely.

Very interesting. I just pulled what-if's out of my head and made a bingo card out of it. To see it be analyzed like this is nice.

A bit off topic but since Switch Pro was mentioned and has been rumored for awhile now how would everyone feel about a Switch TV? The original is a handheld that can be displayed on a TV or taken anywhere, Lite is portable only, what about a version that only works on a TV with no screen?
