The very next morning, Adrian awoke rather abrupt. This time he had a terrible dream. This time he had a terrible dream, it all was a recurring event, upon equipping the ring to his finger, this time however the volcano didn't just act out of proportion, but sending ash and lava in all directions, looking to consume the island into nothing but a pile of death. None were spared.
Focusing on Skarloc, or should he refer him as Lance, even if his name was that of a dragon.
"You awake?"
Not sure if he'd receive an answer, he made an effort looking to stand up, he felt little had improved, yet with an struggling effort, he was at least able to stay on both feet. Careful he moved step by step until he found him self seeing out toward the cold environment outside the cave.
Casually looking back at the so-called would be dragon, he would do anything to help him achieve a normal life as he is, until the day when he must take farewell to this world.
"Ready?" Acknowledging his state of being awake, as if he didn't want to dread at this place more then necessary.
The pyramid which stands tall in the distance, could he reach there by nightfall without further obstructions, he would be overjoyed. Yet he would never ever use the ring out of fear off what it might do. "Not really my authority to ask, but what was the last thing you remembered from your parents?"
What better then getting to know a legend, also each step allowed him at least thinking about something else then his sore back.
The journey through the forest was without issues. Arriving right before the sun went down, she and Seth was greeted by the sovereign of the camp. Hadn't had much the luxury communicating with him since she settled down.
"Ubi eras? Non est aliquis qui te cupiunt."
At first she was shocked, but who could it be? She asked whether Seth's men could stay here, helping rebuilding what's been lost, in which return he was more then willing, which allowed her to meet with whoever was so eager meeting her.
He was easily found in her own crib, or what used to be at least.
"Long time no see, sis." She couldn't believe her eyes.
"Roman... How did you find me?" Before ether continued, they both went in for a hug, Before nether continued, they both went in for a hug, both appreciative seeing each other after such a long time. Shortly after releasing each other, both taking a few steps back, waiting on who's going to say something.
Roman was first, "You can't believe how happy I am seeing you alive, after all this time. Why haven't you tried to reach your family, we've been worried sick."
At that point, Tanya already knew something was troubling, yet she decided best be silent until he finished what he was about to say.
Continuing, "Come with me back home, your parents will be overjoyed knowing their daughter is still alive and well." With an almost satisfying smile, it still didn't feel right, after all, she knew both mum and dad had died several years ago, and Roman her brother disappeared without a trace, potentially blaming him self for their death. At that time, she tried to convince him otherwise, in which he simply ignored her plea.
"There's a boat waiting, we can leave straight away if you want?"
It sounds too good being true, therefor she had to consider well her next words. Good riddance before she had to, Seth looked into her tent, wondering if she once again was ready moving back to Ethan and the remaining crew. There's literally no time to loose.
It's obvious Roman took it rather offensive that he would barge inside her tent at first, then acknowledge her accompanying that cat to wherever.
"Back off cat, this is a private matter, now would you have us excused."
Seth hadn't even payed attention to the so called brother of hers, before he peeped it. "Oh, sorry didn't see you had a conversation, sorry." Retracting his head outside, looking rather worried, but he refrained merely from pursuing the inevitable.
Tanya wasn't as forgiving about her so called brothers act, "he's a friend, you should take heed on how to respond. Now to your question, I cannot accompany you back yet Roman, I have matters that need to be attended to here on this island." She didn't want to think off him any worse then those she are looking to help out here, but it is worryingly, when he mentions their parents. Without even the slightest of hesitation though, as she wouldn't want anything then that to be the truth, but for now her side is with the cats, as this island's existence is way too important giving it up now.
Before she managed getting through the opening, Roman uttered out a few words.
"Don't make me wait, the crew is eager to leave this island, knowing it's a history."
He sure sounded convincing and well aware that might be the case, but what if this power hungry leader managed to acquire this artifact, what then. Perhaps a reason for world dominance.
"I'll be back brother, meanwhile why don't you give it at least a day's rest, I'm sure even you may want it." Attempting to smile, while leaving him behind, suddenly having a much different complex.
She and Seth both made haste toward the temple grounds, as they've already delayed enough time at camp. All this time, they could see already buildings taking form, as if their fast rebuilding what's been lost. Hopefully they could learn the lesson on how to proper establish this hold against further disasters.
Taking them at least an hour, they both arrived, however before they acknowledged Ethan's presence, she had to apology her brother's choosing of words when the leopard entered.
"I'm sorry about my brother's prudent words, hope you'll understand." Surprisingly he hadn't taken much offense at all, perhaps there's more to it then that, before he'll act. Which in all honesty is a good trait.
For some funny reason he said but few words. "Don't mention it, my brother has an much different opinion on matters as well, so don't sweat." He noticed her relief sinking in, as they both looked to Ethan.
They both asked in unison. "Ready?"
