  Long story short, the link to the rules in the header is broken and at the time of writing this post just leads to an error page that says "The specified thread does not exist.". Looks like the URL format for posts changed?
  Technically not that notable since the rules are accesible through other routes.

  Thanks so much for pointing this out! I fixed the rules link in the announcement. I fixed a few other broken links as well. It seems like the links for posting an introduction thread are also broken, but I need to do some deeper investigation into the forum layout / settings before I'll be able to fix that.
