Thoughts on the Disney Star Wars movies?

Well the Star Wars movies have been around for a long time and always had quite a bit of fanfare but have always had a fair share of criticism. I watched the originals as a kid then remember as Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith came out. Those movies had a lot of critics(and for good reason) but I still enjoyed them a lot.
Fast forward to the launch of Episode 7. I'm not the hugest Star Wars fan but I do like the movies and I was unusually hyped up but after watching the movie, it just didn't do anything for me. It was by no means a bad movie, I didn't regret seeing it, but I definitely felt it wasn't a good movie. I've watched all the others too. Episode 8 and 9 and I felt they got progressively worse but still not terrible. It takes a lot for me to feel like watching a movie wasn't worth it.
What are you impressions on the Disney Star Wars movies? Did you like them as much as the previous 6 movies? -

I liked the Disney Star Wars movie, honestly. I will concede that 9 wasn't that great but I really liked 8. This is mostly due to the fact that I don't look for stories in movies but rather comedy. I thought 8 was quite hilarious. I'm not much of a critic with movies like I am with video games so I am pretty chill when watching them. They may not be the best trilogy, but I still liked it. -

They still gave me entertainment though. I don't think I've watched a movie I just decided to quit midway through. I just prefer the original six. -

Personally, the original six made more sense to me as a means of entertainment. In the end, I kinda feel more comfortable with the TV show than the movies. It haven't been long I rewatched Obi-Wan Kenobi again. I've watched it like 6x already.
