We all had those games we thought had great graphics and still remember how good it looks, until we go back and play them again and it doesn't live up to our memories. What games surprised you the most?

For me I remember Gran Turismo 5 looking amazing and I thought it was so realistic looking. And 12 years ago it was very impressive! But I hadn't played it in 6-7 years and recently went back to it and it doesn't look good. It isn't terrible but it really has aged poorly especially when you got used to the newer version. Then again I remember thinking GT3 was better than real life in 2001.

I used to think the original Resident Evil on the PS1 looked good at the time. It had a great story, and it still does. But the graphics and the controls were not good. The remake improved a lot on the first Resident Evil game. it altered the story a bit, and there was a new indestructible enemy in the game, along with the crimson head zombies. The voice acting was improved and the game looked better. The same tank like controls were there, but with what was improved already, it is still a good update to the game.
