Gangster Paradise is a good song and all but wouldn't you like to see Crush 40 themselves play that rocking music in the Sonic movie?
A campaign that is split between the band and fans, seeks to get them into the movie some way some how, I wouldn't mind just hearing them in the credits personally.

Crush 40 would be a good choice imo AND they'd pay a lot less on royalties. But this far in the stage I'm pretty sure they already paid the royalties and can't change the music in it. Also I doubt Gangster's Paradise will be in the movie for more than maybe a minute or two. They probably have a lot of other music in it.

To be fair we haven’t heard any music other than what’s in the trailer and being a trailer it’s fair to assume they chose such an unorthodox song for publicity. It will be interesting to see what they use throughout the movie.
