Would someone be willing to photoshop it up a little for me to make my shacksona? Maybe cut out the extra tail, change the fur to grey, and mess with the pants. And add a big wrench or welder. Anyone feel up to that? Please possibly?

Hey folks. I don't think anyone has read this in years but I'm gonna be updating the comic again at some point. Until then here's a new sprite I'm working on for ritz.

In the meantime, I've reopened character submissions. If you're a new reader/never got around to joining, feel free to PM me about it.

Name: Seg Genesis
Age: Ageless (looks to be around 20 years old)
Bio: Seg Genesis was an escaped artificial being modeled somewhat after a certain blue hedgehog. Code named "M3G4 DR1V3" (For the Leet-challenged, that spells "MEGA DRIVE,) Seg was created to become the first-ever living emulator, capable of emulating the world around him, making him a very versatile being to employ in almost any form of work possible.

Seg Genesis was going to be used as a tool of espionage among other things (After all, who's going to know about a being that can basically shapeshift into anyone and anything? You just can't search EVERYONE or EVERYTHING, y'know!). However, the free will part of his artificial consciousness took over and he fled the lab where he was created, knowing about all the tests that were performed on him. Since then, he's been on some very interesting adventures, able to use his special pair of gloves to store emulations to use for later. Seg is very friendly and can get along with anyone. However, he is a little shy at times especially when it comes to the fairer sex.

Seg can emulate the world around him by simply touching the object that he wishes to emulate. Also, his fur color changes too (his default color is light blue) depending on the object he comes into contact with (Only the basic color of the object, and some details about said object). Seg can revert back to his original form at will, and if he so chooses stores what he just emulated in his gloves so he can use it again at a moment's notice. There basically is no limit to what he can emulate; weapons, people, objects big or small. Seg can emulate 'em all!! However, there's a limit to how many emulations Seg can store in his gloves-he can only store 4 on each glove, making it a grand total of 8 emulations.

@Proto: Got it. Thanks for the submission and for still being a fan after all this time.

Starting with Act 3 I only posted updates to the MSPFA mirror as to not bump my own topic over and over with quintuple posts. I'll start posting here again, but I suggest everyone read the 200 or so pages I did in 2016 over at https://mspfa.com/?s=539&p=543 . The link should take you to the exact point where I stopped posting updates here.

In 2016 I started writing the comic again but Sonic Blast was pretty dead at the time so I started just writing it for my own sake. Without user commands I was in full control and the story got a little weird for a bit but I'm hoping to bring the story back to being about the shack and its members.

In other news, you guys probably won't see any new content for a few weeks. I'm currently in the middle of going thru the MSPFA mirror and doing some edits, particularly typos and formatting stuff. If you found the convos to be hard to follow, they're now color coded! I've also done some basic sentence restructuring to make things less clunky.

The main job, for now at least, is recreating all the assets I need. In early 2017 I accidentally bricked my hard drive and ended up losing my entire Shackstuck folder. This has been a blessing and a curse, as its allowing me to rebuild with a more uniform artstyle.

RIP assets. And RIP me. Though I find the heroic sacrifice quite apt considering I planned on ending an arc of an old comic I was making in a very similar fashion, hah. Meta stuff was also a neat touch. Nice work.

Just out of curiosity how far off the end are we now? Things look like they're getting a little endgame-y.
