As of the end of Q1, ~70% of US Switch owners also owned a PS4 and/or X1

Thought this was an interesting statistic to bring up and explains why Switch didn’t slow momentum of the PS4 or Xbox. Essentially they are all unique enough that they all compliment each other. Thoughts? Does that sentiment align with your opinion?
Quote:According to NPD's Games Acquisition Monitor, at the end of Q1 ballpark of 70% of people in the U.S. that owned a Switch also owned a PS4 and/or an Xbox One. Cross ownership across all 3 consoles is pretty high compared to prior gens. Each system is differentiated enough that a big chunk of people that are into console gaming own multiple systems.
Now arguing primary vs secondary doesnt make any sense. Each box does its own thing and each does it well. -

Not surprising, Switch is a cheap enough system that people who already owned a PS4 and/or Xbox 1 could easily justify a purchase and the range of 1st party titles you can't play anywhere else but the Switch along with the portability option helped too.
