of course everyone has their favourite main/vocal theme from the sonic games, but what about zone music?
as of late I've been listening to Tornado Scramble ... for Sky Chase from sonic adventure, I know a lot of ppl don't enjoy sky chase bcuz it's an auto scrolling stage + you're flying the tornado shooting rather than running around in a stage but I think the stage from a story standpoint is great! sonic & tails rush to follow eggman in his newly revealed egg carrier after he's acquired 4/7 chaos emeralds, meaning there's not much time left - unfortunately eggman is more than well equipped to deal with the tornado I and shoots the duo down, which leads both sonic and tails separated, leading to the following stages of twinkle park and sand hill, which seems more like a rest point for the player, to enjoy the game some more since these stages are mini games that are available to play after completely
did you know there was going to be a dragon boss in both acts? (yt link showing this off in SADX) woah!
and even though the same music is used for act 2 of sky chase, I think it still has the same feeling as it's a "rematch" against the egg carrier
anyways, I'll stop myself before I start talking about all my favourite songs (oops...) -

don't see many people talk about sonic spinball aside from the options menu music. sure the gameplay isn't great but the zone music is some of my favorites in the entire franchise! and it's always nice to see the SatAM characters in there too

What about the other stages like showdown? Showdown is a tune that says welcome to hell just listening to it but I still love it.

I remember when I first played sonic 3D blast on mega collection and instantly loving the soundtrack
especially rusty ruins act 2!

I always like music plant in sonic advance 2 because the level adds music to the already playing music.

It is so good! Such a shame they couldn't use it in sonic origins. The original music in sonic origins just is not good so I can see why they had Jackson do a different version.
