I still do on occasion, but there's also a lot of times where I'll just get the physical releases from online stores and wait until they come in. It definitely takes a lot longer but you never know if that super popular game you want is going to be in stock at a game store these days.

You are correct, I also tend to buy physical copies of games I'd like to keep and fallback to digital copies when I don't mind the format. This way you could also save some pennies with deals

Online shopping has its advantages, I usually buy online even if getting physical copies too.
