In today's age things skew heavily toward digital but GameStop still exists and my city has a few local game shops.
Does anyone still go to a game store for games? I admit I frequent my local shop more often than I should.
I will go to GameStop to preorder niche games though.

I usually don't because most game shops in my city sell current or new items, which usually are cheaper and easy to get online.
I like to stop by local flea markets instead because 1) you usually find cheaper but more importantly 2) you find uncommon stuff to get online today. Just a couple of days ago I did see a Genesis (Mega Drive, 1 controller) along a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog for about $60 usd
I usually only collect Nintendo consoles but I'm thinking about starting with the Sega line as well xd -

YES!! Flea markets have some real gems and they aren't expensive like online they can be. My favorite Sega console is by far the Dreamcast! -

I once bought a GameBoy Advance SP including charger and 2 game cartridges, one which I remember was a Zelda one, on fair condition, for a total of around $10-$11 US dollars (exchange rate variable). Probably around $8-9 US dollars to current exchange rate.
Flea markets have the potential to be real treasure places if you look for enough !
I will hunt these Sega consoles down overtime for sure, I will also pay attention to any Sonic games from now on ! -

Gamestop is the only way I can get games, since I can't afford any subscriptions, because I am only 14, so yea. -

Subscriptions are overrated anyway. You pay money monthly to own nothing.

This is the like the physical vs digital dilemma, I have some digital games but I personally like to own my own copies for some reason. -

I still say GBA SP is the best handheld ever. It was certainly the last one that was small enough for any pocket. You cannot fit a switch in your pocket. -

I like to own my own copies too, especially if I expect I will really like it and want to keep it for years.
