  Hmmm. It’s a tough choice for me since there are several I like. My favorite would be Tikal, too bad she was a one off character.

  I must say, I really like Blaze a lot. She's on fire when it comes to abilities (literally), and her design and characterization are both really good too. She makes an excellent foil to Sonic.
  
  Special shoutout to Bunnie Rabbot though. I always liked her a lot as well, both for her playful yet kindhearted personality and her really cool half-robot abilities.

  I would say Amy. I like modern amy best though with her hammer.

  Well, she's my profile pic so I guess it would be odd if I didn't say Blaze the Cat, but honestly I always liked Amy. Never quite got why some people don't like her. I'll hear people say "she's just a stereotypical crazed stalker fan girl," and I'll be like, "uhhh...she's a pink cartoon hedgehog." You don't need to take it so seriously lol

  Well, take a damn guess, its Tangle the Lemur.
  
  I don't usually like to single out characters as THE BEST CHARACTER because they all have their own qualities, but at the same time I have to have a favorite and for a while now it's been Tangle.
  Sure, part of it is from her character herself who, on paper, doesn't sound that interesting, but when you get to the execution, ooooohohohohoh man! Overall an incredibly fun and wholesome character, but that's not all of why I like her... STORY TIME!!!
  
  I was feeling pretty let down after a game I really liked got into some pretty ugly drama and I was really hesitant in playing it again. This was also the time I distanced myself from Sonic for a while since I thought the franchise was just going downhill.
  But with the whole drama going on, I decided that I might as well go back to the would-be guilty pleasure that is Sonic where I kept hearing about these new IDW-published comics and OOOOOOHHHH BOY, I LOVED THEM. And this was also around the time Frontiers was coming out, then Murder of Sonic, then Superstars. And man, this franchise was actually rocking when I was absent.
  
  I see Tangle as representing IDW Sonic, and IDW Sonic is what made me realize that, to put it bluntly, its cool to like Sonic again.
  
  And that's what Tangle is to me, that Sonic's got his style back, that the love this community has for the franchise is undying and will do everything in their power to keep it going. And honestly, that the franchise had never lost steam to begin with the more I think about it. 
  
  Tangle just made me like Sonic again. Simple as that.

  Huh... never heard people say that about Amy, though of course there's people like that. Now there has been times where she really was an incredibly one note character, but it's been AGES since her character developed and grew out of that by now.
