I could say any of the chaotix, but I'll save my gushing for the chaotix as a whole for another thread
my all time favourite male character though, whether segasonic or chaotix, is mighty! like I said already in my response to who's your favourite chaotix member, his likes in the chaotix manual are peacefulness and nature and he has a calm personality
even if that personality trait was played w/ in different ways depending on interpretation; like in post-SGW archie he was learning to control his temper and became a calm and more open minded person, while in IDW w/ the classic-era comics they do a good job at keeping him being passionate abt helping his friends while in need but not letting that fuel his actions
he's also just been my favourite character overall since I first saw him in segasonic arcade and I remember when they announced sonic mania plus and showed that mighty and ray were coming back as playable characters being one of the best moments of my life and the announcement made me so happy I cried
so I like mighty regardless of iteration, whether it be games or comics! he's strong, caring, and can roll into a ball... he's pefect!

I agree here. I really like Mighty, though he's not my favorite.
