  The good thing is, is it isn’t replacing the regular Switch. @ Switch Less would be a better name.

  I guess since the original Nintendo DS, Nintendo have always made compact versions of their consoles. That's probably one of the good thing's about the Switch Lite, it's easier to carry around, and maybe the battery life is longer too.

  Its confirmed that the battery life is extended by about 20%-30%

  I would hope so with no joycons and everything being built in. But that’s a good thing, hopefully the other new more powerful model will have better battery too.
