What got you into the Sonic fandom?

  I've known about Sonic for as long as I can remember, but I only started looking into the franchise in the summer of 2017. I was bored. I saw the mobile version of Sonic 2 on the app store, and thought "this looks neat". Things escalated from there.

  That's a really good version of Sonic 2, good start! How would you rank that one now that you've played a ton more?

  Probably the best version of the game out there. The addition of Hidden Palace alone is a huge bonus, and the boss rush Zone and increased screen size are also welcomed.
  
  It's easy to see why Sega used that version of the game in Sonic Origins.

  Yeah I'm so glad they had it in Origins, I don't like playing on mobile so I didn't play it much on my phone but it is great. Now they should make one with all the other cut content like Wood Zone and time travel.

  For me, it was Sonic the Hedgehog the 1991 release that got me into this fandom. The game was so good that it later become the best-selling home video game of 1991. The game sold about 2 million copies worldwide by the end of the year.

  Must have been pretty cool to be around when it came out and how different it was from everything else from the time. I was only 3 when it came out. Lol But I remember the hype for Sonic 3 before it released.

  I was luckily gifted Generations at the age of 6, but it was a 3DS copy. Fell in love with it since then.

  3DS was good too IMO. A bit jealous of Casino Night and Mushroom Hill.
