What do you do for work outside of hobbies? What is your profession now and do you have any plans to change it or are you happy with what you do?

For me I am a manager at a local grocery store. It pays alright, nothing special though but I like to help customers and keep things running.

currently I work in a local restaurant!  Heart I started there as a cook but slowly became the "guy who knows how to do everything" there, and now I have a more responsible but flexible role there - I designed the takeout menus, work on the website, and ... we also have chalkboard-painted walls and whiteboard signs for our windows that I illustrated and decorate, for example we were doing a promotion for a "fire cracker" sandwich and I drew a large chinese dragon breathing fire to show how "spicy" the sandwich was which was a fun experience and I learnt a lot (I had never drawn a dragon before)! customers are really happy to watch me work on illustrations while they wait for their food too which... makes me a little self conscious while I work but they're very encouraging towards me as well. aside from "drawing on the walls" all day I also now work up front taking orders and serving customers, but I'm also able to go back into the kitchen and help with anything if my staff needs it.

speaking of grocery stores though... before I moved to the city where I live now I worked in the bakery department at the grocery store in my hometown, I'm originally from a place with a population of less than 8,000 Thumbs Up working in the bakery dept was nice bcuz we made everything from scratch, so I learnt a lot working there for 3~4 years from being someone who only packs product, to a cake decorator, and then a baker!

As of now, I'm kind of a therapist! And I love it! It allows me to add experiences to my life, knowing I helped someone! Big Grin

I work as a receptionist at a big office law firm currently. Looking to change but do not hate it.

Right now, my official job is at an elementary school as an instructional aide. I help kiddos with special needs.
I'm hoping to eventually move up to being a full-fledged teacher and teach upper grades. My bachelor's degree is in English so I'm hoping to be an English teacher. But I'd really enjoy being an art teacher too.
But I'd also like to do writing and art as well, even if it's on the side.

Right now I'm a worker at McDonalds because of my age I can't do any serious jobs right now, but it pays good!

I'm the business manager in my family's auto car spare parts company. I've been running the company with my only kid brother since our father passed on the business for us to take over management.
