Sonic 1 - Green Hill
Sonic 2 - Emerald Hill
Sonic CD - Palmtree Panick
Sonic 3 - Angel Island
S&K - Mushroom Hill


I will split up sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles into two different games for this topic. My favorite is mushroom hill in sonic and knuckles because of the fun bouncy mushrooms.

Sonic CD. That music was a BANGER, the stage had beautiful scenery, and the level design was ON POINT!

I'll die on the hill of Angel Island being the greatest one. So many fond memories of it from my childhood...

For me it's the same. I always loved the art of Angel Island and remember the first time getting the fire shield that gives Sonic the extra powers. Although that isn't part of the level. I was always convinced I could stop Robotnik from burning it if I just hit that badnik enough but I realized later it was not possible.

Emerald hill for sure! It was the first sonic game I played and I don't care if it is just nostalgia glasses. It looks way better than green hill and more charming than angel island.

I still stand by Angel Island being the best but Emerald Hill is way better than Green Hill, I agree with that!

NEVER! I do like Palmtree 2nd best though.
