Well there is hope that it will reopen. I loved this store as a kid. It was like going to Disneyland when I got to go. Got many toys as well as video games for Genesis/PS1 there. Anyone else have fond memories of this store? -

I do have fond memories of that place. When I was younger, my brother and I went to visit our father for weekends, he used to take us there and buy us a new Hot Wheels car every time. I must have over a thousand of the damn things from back then, heh. As a kid I used to love going into that store, but these days it doesn't offer anything, aside from the experience, that other stores don't offer, and with the convenience, and prevalence, of online purchasing, they're going to have to do some serious restructuring to stay competitive and relevant. I hope they make it work, though. -

Maybe but I think it’s different for buying for kids. Going there was about the experience and buying stuff online isn’t as fun for the kid.
I mean there is Walmart and Target too but eh the selection isn’t as good. -

I would certainly love this to happen but even with them not going into bankruptcy it doesn't seem too hopeful to reopen stores. I mean why shut everything down in the first place? -

that is where i got all my Skylanders, i would always go there when i got money so i could buy more
and now that its reopened, i can grow my collection even more. -

No where near me but I hope they start opening up again around here! Lots of good memories! I remember getting Genesis games there are playing Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast too.
