Ok, so not only we have Mobians, but humans as well throughout the Sonic Franchise
I am wondering which human characters are your favorites from any Sonic Media
PS-Ivo Robotnik/Eggman does not count in this instance.
My favorite human is Tom/Donut Lord from the Sonic movie. He is such a sweetheart to our blueblur and is awesome to boot, showing him that he isn't alone. -

My favorite human character would probably be Professor Pickle from Sonic Unleashed. He knows what's truly important in life: how to make a proper sandwich.
My second favorite would have to be Chris Thorndyke from Sonic X. It may be because I am very nostalgic when it comes to Sonic X but I just really like the character. My one problem with him honestly was how he was treated in the final season of Sonic X. In his dimension, he was quite a genius and was skilled in martial arts but when he returned to Sonic's dimension he was back to being a kid. I really wish they didn't take the easy route by changing him to a kid because there could've been some interesting ways to take with an adult Chris. -

Oh you are probably the first person i've seen that actually have good things to say about Chris Thorndyke in a long time. I can respect that.

Does Shahra count? I really enjoy genie characters and fictional Arabian stories and such. I also felt bad for her because she had to choose to do what was right even though it meant sealing away Erazor, who was heavily implied to have been her former lover. If not, probably Maria since she was such a pure soul who is a huge reason why Shadow is the compelling character that he is. I also love Helen (wheelchair girl) from Sonic X, simply because her episode with Sonic makes me cry due to how beautifully sad but wholesome it is.
And I want to shout out to both Elise and Chris Thorndyke, two characters who get way more hate than they deserve. I think Elise was a decent character with an interesting story. The one mistake with her was the infamous kiss that people still rage about. I never thought it was that big of a deal.
Chris was also great because he showed what it would be like to be a kid who meets and befriends Sonic. It's a cool immersion meant to appeal to kids. I also think the argument against Chris "stealing" the spotlight from other characters is mostly false and blown out of proportion. -

Shahra was great. After replaying Sonic and the Secret Rings, she is another favorite of mine. -

Hmmm this is an interesting one to think about. No humans really strike me first thing when I think of Sonic franchise.
I do like Gerald Robotnik. I do really like Tom in the movie too. Hopefully he is back for the sequel.
