The Metal Gear Solid Series started with the release of Metal Gear Solid, although it's actually the third main game in the whole franchise, a sequel to Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. I haven't played much of the original two games, but I was a fan of the MGS games. I played the first one on the PS1, and after sometime I thought it was very good. The first MGS game had a great story, along with good gameplay. It also had some great boss battles too.

What do you think of the Metal Gear Solid Series?

One of my favourite franchises ever. One of the greatest gaming experiences in my life.
I adore this series, and it has become one of my greatest inspirations regarding fictional storytelling.

I even cosplayed once as Solid Snake from the PSx game! (Although it was really cheap version of Snake...)

What game in the series is your favourite?

Mine is Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. As that seemed like more as a stealth game than the previous two, as it was set in the forest. There was also survival, since over time Big Boss would get weaker, so you had to hunt for animal an plants build up your stamina. There was also a boss fight, with someone called The End, and sometimes that could take a long time to do.
