The Devil May Cry Series

With Devil May Cry V going to be released next year, I was wondering if there were any other fans of the series. I think the DMC games are great. I played the first game on the PS2 which I thought was awesome, although the second game I thought was just okay, but you could play as another character. I thought the third game was good too, but it was hard and I never completed it. Devil May Cry 4 was a great game, and like DMC2 there was another character to play as. As for DMC: Devil May Cry, the reboot, I never played it.
The first game in the series like I said was awesome. You play as a character called Dante who is half human and half demon, and you fight other demons in a castle on the island, you also fight in other areas later in the game. You fight with a sword and guns, what have infinite ammo. There other swords and items you get, what gives Dante the ability to turn into a demon. The action is fast and it was different to another big series Capcom had Resident Evil.
What does anyone else think of the series?
