My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is to thank and honor God for blessings bestowed upon our family, and to spend as much time with as much family as possible, including having a big dinner together. On many occasions each family member chips in some kind of food, so that together we can gather and prepare supplies for a big feast.
I also love lighting some candles for the dinner table, and playing some nice acoustic music in the background for atmosphere. We spend some time praying to God and thanking Him for the countless ways in which He blesses us every day. Then, we enjoy a nice meal together and spend a long time talking and hanging out, and just unwind as the afternoon turns into a calm evening.
