The object of the game is a friendly competition between forum members who have their alignment set to Team Hero, and forum members who have their alignment set to Team Dark in their profile settings.
The
Counter starts at 0, and will reset to 0 at the end of each match. Team Hero's goal is to count up to 100, and Team Dark's goal is to count down to -100.
Members can increment or decrement the Counter by 1 per post. So a Team Hero member would count up by 1 with the goal of eventually reaching 100, while a Team Dark member would count down by 1 with the goal of eventually reaching -100.
When posting, please use a format similar to the following:

Team Dark, depending on your team as set in your profile settings. The increment is +1 if Team Hero, or -1 if Team Dark.
Number is the current value of Counter after your addition or subtraction.
Lastly, beginning on page 10 and for every page thereafter for which exists a factor of 10 (e.g. page 20, 50, 100, 1000, etc) a
Super Form Event occurs for the very first poster at the top of that page.
When posting at the beginning of a new page with a factor of 10 (or editing your post afterward, if you don't realize until after posting) you can add an additional factor of +4 (Team Hero) or -4 (Team Dark) to your initial increment, for a total of +5 or -5 to the current Counter depending on your team. This is only valid for that one post, and cannot be applied retroactively by anyone else. The event will only recur once per first post at the top of a page with a factor of 10.
If the poster fails to claim their Super Form Event within 48 hours of making the first post at the top of a page with a factor of 10, it is forfeited and will not recur again until the first post at the top of the next page with a factor of 10.
Double Posting Rule: To ensure both a fair and efficient game, you may only double post if 48+ hours have passed since your last post. As long as you wait at least 48 hours since your last post, you can post multiple times in a row indefinitely. If someone else replies after you there is no cooldown period required. This prevents anyone from spamming the thread to get their team points, while at the same time ensuring that game progress continues even if only a small number of people are participating at a given time.
The match ends once the Counter reaches 100 (Team Hero Victory) or -100 (Team Dark Victory). When Team Victory is achieved, the match automatically ends. The Counter is reset to 0, and the next poster can increment or decrement by 1 from that starting point depending on their team. This original post will be updated with a log of each victory, including team name, timestamp of winning post, post number and containing page, and username of the member who posted the winning post.
I will provide 2 example games below for illustration. Please note that I am using Sonic characters in lieu of real members for the examples. Any number of members can participate in the game at any time, but for sake of simplicity of the examples I am showing 4 participants.

Counter starts at 0. For the purposes of this example, consider Sonic as Team Hero, Amy as Team Hero, Shadow as Team Dark, and Rouge as Team Dark.
