Reviews are rolling out, I’ll post a few here.

GamesRadar is a joke. They put Diddy Kong and CTR on the same level as Garfield Kart while having Nintendo’s D in their mouth. Rofl Wish I didn’t read that review now. -

I've been perusing the reviews myself as well. One recurring theme I've noticed is complaints about the lack of Sega characters and just being Sonic characters. I think it's pretty unfair that reviewers are docking points for that due to the game never marketing itself as a sequel to all stars. Heck, they even emphasized it being a new series. I figured the game would take a hit for not having enough content tho and other than that most reviews seem fair. -

Besides that last part saying that CTR and DKR try to imitate Mario Kart which is just wrong, that's not the only part about the review that was weird, the whole thing is pretty much. There's some stuff that pretty much every other reviewer praised that's bashed here.
They complain about the team mechanics meaning that you can lose if you win the race, but then also complain about the team mechanics not being important enough, too. I'm all for opinions, but if your complaints about the tracks are that they're "too colorful" or that there's not much going on on the tracks, give me some examples. And well, complaining about having to play the story to unlock the story missions is by far the weirdest complaint I've seen. -

It's the sonic review curse. IGN infamously made a video review that complained about cheap deaths as it showed the player just jumping into a pit. It was a Sonic Colors review I believe.

From what I’ve been reading of the reviews it seems they mostly all love the gameplay but where it gets docked is the lack of content. I’m liking what I’m reading about it so I’ll definitely get it soon.

Oh I know that the review had more problems i just thought that was the most crazy part.
