  To no one's surprise, T-Mobile lied to get their merger approved. Sadly any repercussions will likely be a slap on the wrist rather than punishment that actually hurts them.

  It's not surprising at all because they can easily pay whatever they are asked to pay. It was like years back when Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg was suied over selling users data. It was the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data breach lawsuit. The case didn't hurt Mark Zuckerberg in any way much.
