Streets of Rage 4 has been revealed?
While no systems or release date has been confirmed yet, it's coming from Dotemu and Lizardcube, the same team behind Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap.

Was just going to post this! Speaking of old series revivals! Hopefully the gameplay takes advantage of the decades since of improvements in brawlers.

I'm glad there is going to be a Streets of Rage 4, although I have only finished the first game. I have the first two games on the MegaDrive and on the Wii Virtual Console along with the third game. I hope the fourth game will awesome like the others.

In a more serious reply: Keen as beans for this (as if the current avatar didn't give that way). I'm a big fan of Streets of Rage and the artstyle looks gorgeous. Curious to see what other characters will be playable if any as well as what system tweaks Lizardcube may bring to the table. As far as I'm concerned they don't need to change much, but tweaking things like preventing enemies from flying off screen mid combo would be a welcome addition. If it's at least up-to-par with SoR2 it'll be a good time I reckon.

I’m so happy more and more good franchises are coming back. *not looking at you bubsy* I just hope it retains its core but also improves significantly on the 3rd. Brawlers have come a long ways since the 90s, like @"Metallix" said.

Back in June I got Streets of Rage trilogy as sega vintage on the xbox store for free with xbox live gold, it's great to see a 4th game on the way.
