Activision announced today that the trilogy package will now arrive on November 13, which is about two months later than its previously announced September 21 release date. In a statement, developer Toys for Bob said the game needed "more love and care," so a delay was necessary.
"Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years," Toys for Bob co-studio head Paul Yan said in a blog post. "We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018.
"I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you'll agree the extra time was worth the wait."
Maybe they'll put the rest of the games on the disc now. -

Doubtful but it is good they’re not rushing it out unfinished. That would taint their remakes to the point of harsh mockery. -

According to a Source speaking to YongYea they have indeed made the delayed to include all the games on the disc. -

Glad to see that the devs really care about making it properly. It's good that Activision's envelope-pushing ended up backfiring; I guarantee they wanted to dissuade second-hand purchases but the outcry was enough to make them rethink. Either way, I don't mind the extra wait. -

I can wait, I'm in no rush to play Spyro sine I will be busy for awhile anyway with Shenmue 1&2 HD . -

Glad they didn't try to make you download the other two games online. My PS4 has limited space as it is. -

It was confirmed that the delay had no effect on that unfortunately. I bought a 4TB external HDD along with my 1.5TB internal it’s more than enough and I have 167 games installed right now. -

Wow that's just crazy cause the crash reboot did just fine woth getting all 3 games. Activision is just the worst company in this industry.

A few years ago I’d have said it was Microsoft. But EA is probably worse. I don’t know what the deal is with that though. Maybe it’s because Spyro is wide open and requires more space whereas Crash is mostly corridors? Still you’d think they could fit it all. They aren’t particularly long games.
