  It's also the fastest selling individual format game since the PS4 version of Call of Duty: WWII in November last year. Spider-Man is the latest in a long-line of hit PS4 exclusive single-player games.

  
  I didn’t think it possible but the game may out sell God of War! Anyone here pick it up yet? It’s getting a lot of play on my friend’s list.

  It’s for the full year though and beat all previous Marvel records and beat Uncharted 4 opening in less days. FarCry 5 was a sells juggernauts well but yes currently it doesn’t have any other big games to go against but I am sure it’ll do well throughout the holiday season.

  Well the numbers are out and it edged out God of War with 3.3 Million copies sold in the first three days. Insane! It’s going to have long legs too as it’s assuredly going to be a big gift come the holidays. Congrats to Insomniac. The number also doesn’t include the limited edition consoles that sold out which is odd because bundles usually are always included in numbers.

  This is the thing. People WANT these big super hero franchises to have great games, that's why the Batman series did so well and now the Spiderman game is shaping up to be a great series too. Seriously, if these gaming companies devoted the necessary time and resources to these games, Marvel/DC video games would be a huge staple in the gaming community. (I really want to see this treatment for Captain America pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee).

  I agree. The reason previous Spider-Man games did poorly is because they just weren’t good. 
  
  Square Enix is working on an Avengers game that’s sure to be a decent game. I wouldn’t mind a good Dr Strange game. Bending time and creating portals could be very fun!
