  So what are your realistic expectations and what are your dreams?
  
  
  For me I realistically expect a new game. My dream is a remake of Sonic Adventure along with an all new game that tries something different from Adventure/Boost gameplay.

  I believe they will go full-on with the advertising. I think whatever this new game is will be advertised by playing a significant role in the IDW comics and the Sonic mobile apps (Dash and Forces). They MAY do some DLC for TSR to advertise that game (because that game desperately needs more attention) but that might be some wishful thinking. They will continue collaborating with other games as they have with Fall Guys and Ninjala which is why I'm convinced another Sonic rep will appear in Smash Bros.
  
  Now for my wish list. I would love to see a remaster of Sonic '06 with some fixes in the story and gameplay. I would also like to see the Sonic Mega Collection and Gems Collection ported to consoles and Steam. A Sonic 3D collection would also be nice to see but I think porting games like Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Colors, Unleashed, and possibly the storybook games to modern platforms is very important.

  Oh man a Colors re-release in 4k would look amazing. Maybe even some touched up textures but it doesn't need it. Just get rid of aliasing and it'll still look good to this day.

  I don't think that porting the Mega Collection and Gems Collections is that important, they could just put those games in other places (game gear collection maybe? sonic the fighters hd on pc? sonic r on modern pc officially? all games from mega collection on genesis/mega drive classics? anything can happen!)

  Well, it isn't that important on Steam since a lot of those games are already on there, but mainline consoles don't have those (for example, the Nintendo Switch does not have Sonic Spinball which is an unforgivable crime).

  What i have always wanted was a game which centers around Silver and the future.
  I have always wanted a team future
  Silver,Blaze and another robot rep.
  Maybe Eggman Nega for a villian or metal Eggman.
  If Sonic dies Silver has to prevent that from happening.
  Shadow keeps getting in his way but eventully they work together
  Then throw the sol and chaos emeralds in just for show.

  That would defintely be a neat spin-off, @! I always thought Silver didn't get enough credit, I did really like his gameplay too.
