In the No. 2 spot, Paramount’s family friendly “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” sped to $30 million from 4,258 cinemas, declining 58% in its second weekend of release. As “Sonic 2” continues to charm audiences, the film has generated a strong $119.6 million in North America to date.

That's amazing, I read it did better than the first one too. I am glad and surprised these movies have been resounding successes. -

Those film critics got It wrong I know there for a reason. But I go off my own opinion and I though it was amazing to watch. I got the Sonic & Knuckles vibes from the game on the Sega Mega Drive which brought me back to my childhood

They got it wrong big time! I think it's like 66% on RT but has a 97% user rating. -

I'm really pleased to see this movie is doing so well. I have seen it twice already and hoping to go a third time, but I really enjoyed it a lot. I think it's substantially better than the first film.

I agree, it is way better! I love their portrayal of Knuckles and Tails. -
