I’ve just seen the trailer today and It looks amazing I think quite a few people are not happy with the dlc pricing etc. I’m getting It definitely the price to me seems fine.

@"sonicclassicfan90s" ah yes, I've seen that. I don't think it's a big deal to most but yeah it probably should have been just one price. The DLC is kinda weird, DLC for animation in the title screen? Seems like an odd thing to need to pay for. That said I'll be getting the deluxe version, sadly there doesn't seem to be any physical version. -

I totally agree with everything you said there. It’s a shame there’s no physical version unfortunately. But I will get the deluxe version near to the time when It gets released. I could pre ordered It now but will near to the time

@"sonicclassicfan90s" if I'm correct though all that stuff for the DLC can be purchased with in-game currency, this is just a way to bypass earning it through playing the game.
I'm excited for this. I have Sonic 3 A.I.R. already but lets hope all of these games have the love and care that that mod brought to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It'll be nice to play a superior version of Sonic 2 on TV. -

So I got this game and started with Sonic 2 since that was the first one I ever played and it's pretty good. Nice to have the mobile version on console but it reminded me how much I dislike the last bit of the game. Metropolis is good imo but overstays its welcome. Then I just hate Wing Fortress Zone. Death egg with no rings is hard until you get the hang of it then it's a breeze but in the original, with lives, it was hard to practice the final boss to get good with it since you couldn't just keep dying and trying again unless you amassed a crazy amount of lives through the game. -

I haven't bought Origins, and I don't think I will. It's not that I overly hate it, but I already own the mobile remasters, and I don't see Origins as a huge improvement over them gameplay-wise. Which is a bummer, because Origins had loads of potential. They could've finally created a Zone in CD to replace R2. They could've added Knuckles to CD, or Metal and Amy to any of the titles. But because Sega wanted the game out in time for Sonic's 30th, there was too much rush to add anything major to the gameplay. And that does somewhat disappoint me, because without notable gameplay changes, the games in Origins are just console ports of the mobile ports of the Genesis originals.
