But lots of games get remasters while the original is still up for sale on it's own. So is it to drive attention fully to Sonadow Generations like that's the version of Sonic Generations?
With that thought, I'm concerned that means Sonic Team is not fully confident on the new Shadow content as if it doesn't adds or even takes away something from the original game, in which case people would prefer just getting the original Generations, but not only is that contradictory to this game having the most confident promo campaign we've seen off this franchise in a while, it is kind of a dumb and desperate theory for what's probably just boring business stuff.
Another issue I have with Generations only being available in a bundle is just the pricing.
I've already said a few times how prices get bumped up significantly where I live, and the price for the Legacy Bundle while having none of the games already purchased is insane if you only care about getting the original Generations.

All in all, I can't say I'm too happy with the Generations de-listing now that I give it thought. It's cool the game isn't completely off sale for the sake of the modding community and overall game preservation, but I feel like none of this was really necessary.
