  There is a rumor going around that Sonic Colors is getting a remaster. This is coming from a German Voice Production Studio.

  This would be pretty amazing! Colors looks great still due to the art style, but it's just too low resolution. Making it 4k would really sharpen it up and get rid of the jagged edges. Yeah the textures probably won't be that great but like I said, the art style hides that really well.
  
  I love colors for the originality of it. I'd give Generations the nod to gameplay but Colors was all original and did not have any pure 2D levels in it which was nice.

  I do hope they integrate some elements from the DS version. I've never played the DS version myself but I heard it was very good.

  As much as I would like to see a Colors remaster or the Adventure remakes, I would be kind of disappointed in SEGA if they resigned themselves to essentially just updating older games, instead of making new ones due to a loss of faith in themselves.

  Well I wouldn't mind it as side projects. I agree though, if they announce these then they should also let people know that a new game is coming as well. Hopefully the new game has a lot of time spent on it without rushing it. They always rush things which makes them worse than they could be.
