Anyone trying to see the eclipse? (Got my solar glasses!) I live about an hour and a half from the totality area altho now I'm reading highways could be gridlocked for like 12 hours which doesn't sound appealing 😵💫
Even still I plan to at least try unless it's cloudy. Many people find it life changing to witness it which I find intriguing. -

I am excited but where I live will only be 25% covered. Still cool but over here in Arizona won't be like Texas or east coast. Too far for me to drive. -

my family texted me this morning warning me that I'm in "direct line" of the eclipse here in GTA , apparently the Niagara Region is declaring a state of emergency for the Solar Eclipse bcuz they're worried so many ppl are going to flock to Niagara Falls since it's in the path of totality; we're also encouraged to stay inside bcuz everything is going to be so dark and extremely cold apparently

I know it gets dark but what? It doesn't get like nighttime and only lasts awhile. Seems overkill. -

From where I live, I'll actually be able to witness the totality. That'll be quite a neat experience. -
