  To be this good takes ages, to be this good is to port Sega games with additional features and long lost arcade equivalents
  
  The Sega Ages series brings Sega games to the Nintendo Switch, it was actually requested by a certain Mr. Sakurai, it seeks to be the most perfect versions of the game, for example, Sonic 1 adds the Drop Dash and Mega Play features
  
  Of Sonic games coming, Sonic 1 is already out and Sonic 2 is coming soon, the Sonic Adventures series and Sonic 3K been highly requested and been noticed by the devs, so we might get those eventually.

  Are they porting the Chris Whitehead Sonic 1 and 2?
  
  Does anyone have the switch version of Sonic 1?
  Is it the same one that is on on iOS/Android?
  
  If so why not on other consoles or PC?
  
  Bloody heck sega we have been wanting the Chris Whitehead versions of Sonic 1 and 2 on non mobile for ages now.
  If its the emulated genesis games fine but I smell a rat if its the Android/iOS versions on the switch and why the fudge not have it on other platforms.
  
  Sega might as well be short for Smegheads, heck it kind of is.
  Remove the M,H, the second E, D, and second S and you get Sega
  I await confirmation but prepare for angry swearing and a vast array of insults at segas expense just in case....

  The version on the Switch has Original Mode, Ring Keep Mode and Challenge Mode. Also Sonic can do the spin dash from Sonic 2 and the drop dash from Sonic Mania. I also have Thunder Force IV from Sega Ages. So far I think those are the only two games on Sega Ages so far.

  So from what I read its done by M2 not the whitehead version.
  Its basically a mod for Sonic 1 but improves gameplay and adds new features.
  But this still brings the question of why make this mod switch exclusive?
  Why not have the same mod on other systems if M2 is so good at ports?
  So instead of angry swearing at only Sega I will fire off said angry swearing at M2
