Ehhhh kinda. I don't watch too much anime since a lot of them have so many, er, revealing characters. I have watched a few though like One Punch Man, Pokemon, Sonic X, and My Hero Academia (kinda). My favorite anime has got to be Sailor Moon Crystal. I'm more of a manga person. My favorite series that I read would be Death Note. -

I know the feeling. I received a major promotion at my job which is really great, I'm extremely thankful for it. But it also brings greater responsibility and challenges than I have ever dealt with before. Essentially developing and managing a new department while juggling that with some mind-bending engineering projects. Happy to do it but very worn out and a bit stressed.

And I wish everyone here the best. I'm never as active here as I want to be (hopefully I can change that) but I always enjoy checking in when I can, and it always makes me happy to see multiple people still posting and active. I can relate to being sick of social media as well. I can't stand it. This forum is one of the few places left that I check regularly that reminds me of older and better times in the world of internet communications. That still lives on here and I believe always will. -

Gah my current job is no Bueno. Either overworked or underworked. Trying to get another job. Also been sick since Saturday. Hoping it's not Covid. I'm feeling better but still off.
Been busy working on the house too. Put in bark in the flower beds, put in path lights and bistro lights for the back yard. -

I'm also very sorry to hear that you're sick! I'm in that boat right now as well. It always sucks but during these times can certainly be frightening. I wish you the best and a speedy recovery! And I wish you the best with your projects as well! House work is always satisfying. -

@ Yeah I like the work though. In fact I love the work, I like fixing things but when things get busy it's like no one cares how much you work. Things are slower now though but that's mostly due to Covid. People just are wary of servicemen coming to their houses.
I'm hoping you get well soon too. I wouldn't be worried normally and I still don't think it's Covid but some lady sent her kid to daycare even though his sister was with her dad whose roommate tested positive.
So we're taking all precautions. Although I do wonder, what's the point of quarantining if masks prevent the spread? If you have Covid but are wearing a mask, it should be fine if you go out no? If not, then why are we wearing masks? Just something I was thinking about when the advice nurse recommended quarantine.

I'm really glad you love the work, but that's unfortunate about people's attitude. I'm not sure if you work through a company or independent contracting, but hopefully you can find something like a different avenue for the same type of work that would involve better policies / structure to minimize such issues.
Thanks so much! Yeah it's definitely good to take precautions but hopefully it isn't COVID. I guess the idea could be since masks are not 100% effective, quarantining is the safest option for anyone potentially infected. Realistically speaking, using a mask + social distancing should be enough to be safe and to keep others safe almost every time, but isn't guaranteed (the mask can slip slightly or get damaged, a tiny amount of particles can escape anyway, etc). Especially since most masks being worn are not industrial or military-grade respirators so do not form a complete seal with the face or filter/pump air through a closed-loop system. -
