Brazillian journalist PH Brazil who was the first to break the news on the Switch 2 delay says Nintendo is planning a direct for April ( unsure on if it's a mini ) and a indie world in March. Also believes the Switch 2 will be revealed in June.
What are some expectations/wishes you have for Nintendo's next handheld? -

Honestly, I just want a way to put free games other people make for the switch on them without having to mod it. I don't wanna get bricked simply because someone made a cool game and made a switch version.

I just hope the switch 2 is backwards compatible, I'm sure if it truly is a "switch 2" it probably will be but I don't see myself buying it day 1 like I did the current switch if it's not (I still have the OG switch too, I never bothered upgrading to the OLED)
the only reason I bought the original switch when it released was bcuz the 2 games coming out for it were puyo tetris which was finally releasing in NA and disgaea 5 which I didn't own a ps4 at the time it released so I was excited for those announcements but if the switch 2 uses a different format for its games then I'll really need an announcement worth buying a totally new console for
speaking of disgaea 5 remember when ppl rumoured that the switch wasn't going to be as powerful as the psvita? disgaea 5 couldn't be on the vita like the previous entries without a lot of content being removed bcuz it was such a large game, so it was nice to see that the effort was made to put it on the switch in its entirety AND w/ the DLC included as well -

I don't remember people saying it wouldn't be as powerful as the Vita. That sounds like nonsense. Lol. It came out five years after the Vita.
Hopefully it is backwards compatible. I never got a Switch and won't with the next around the corner. -

Stick drift sucks! I had it with a Dualshock 3. I fixed it but after a week it came back and never went away. -

That is a must! I don't want to have to keep my switch, I want to trade it in towards the cost of the new one. -

Here's an interesting thought. What if Switch 2 brings back glassesless 3D? I always thought the 3D in the 3DS was pretty cool. Would you all be okay if they brought it back?
I don't think they will bit I think it would be cool. The 3DS did well but it was their worst selling handheld in recent time. Far short of the DS and Switch and had to drop its price immediately because it wasn't taking off at $250. -

I'm not sure. I did not mind the 3D but it was not needed IMO. I believe it makes the device more expensive too so I would rather not have it if the price is too high.
