Just a little game where we select a topic, and we have to one after another try to make as many puns on the topic as possible! If you make a pun, you get a point! If you go to reply and you feel like you can't pun anymore, you can forego the point in order to pick a new topic. So rather than pun, you'll simply say "NEW TOPIC:" and the tell us whatever topic you pick! Sound easy enough? I hope so!! (Also the point totals are just for funsies. You can post your total with your pun if you'd like to keep score. Wear it like a shiny badge hehe)

I would have picked a Sonic related topic, but I thought it might be nice to BRANCH out. . . -

I'm going to go out on a limb with some of these puns, hopefully I won't get cut down to size. I won't go barking up the wrong tree, so I'll just leaf this here: a sap won't pine against planting seeds aiming higher than the canopy. -

Ooooh puns. Those are a real Treet. While I wood much prefer other topics fir acorny joke, trees are a natural choice to make for this thread. I won't be a weeping willow over the subject. -

Awesome round 1! I think we really got to the Root of what puns are all about! Hehe
So I'm going to jump to the next topic, since we basically got most everything we could in a few posts for Trees!
I would encourage future rounds to go roughly a pun a post so we can give other's more of a chance to jump in, if that's cool! (If you do 2 because it works better that way all is well, just want to make sure each round can last a little bit!
)
So go ahead and give yourselves a point for each pun you made if you'd like, and you can post your updated scores on each post you leave! Self score keeping, by the honor system

I dunno. Eventually, coming up with puns makes my brain melt and I tend to slip after that.
