It's the Starlabs Starbook MkV. I guess they changed the name of their laptop because before it was called the Star Labtop. lol It's a linux based laptop that uses coreboot and has Intel Management Engine disabled. My current laptop is 9 years old so it's due time for a good upgrade!

Well after all this time it's FINALLY prepared for shipping and should be shipped by the end of the month.

Well it took even longer than expected but it's HERE!!! Now I have a computer again.

It has an 11th gen i7 CPU, 500GB NVME 4.0 SSD, and 32 GB of ram at 3200mhz. That's a HUGE upgrade from my old laptop with a 2nd gen i3, HDD, and 4 GB of ram.

Congratulations on your new laptop. I know it's what you're still making use of now giving that it have been 3 years now since you bought it. What's the colour of the laptop?

Dang! I can't believe it has been a little over two years already. Yes I still use it and it has helped me learn Linux a lot better than I had understood before.

The laptop is black and still plays modern games on medium/low. It'show I play the fangame Sonic P-06. Like I said before, I love that everythingis open source including the bios.

I really like StarLabs and would buy another of their products again.

It's the thing with tech products, once they're not having any issues, you wouldn't know when it have been years since you purchased and have been using it. 

I haven't used any StarLabs products but I will be keeping tabs on their services from now.

Starlabs seems pretty cool. Have you tried System76? That is a company I have used for a laptop and nice.
